[for Anatoly]
Jun. 9th, 2009 11:53 pmLife went on, Roxas realized. It had been almost two weeks since he'd heard Axel's death on the jukebox, since he'd disappeared headfirst inside of himself. It still stung to think about and he still kept hiking the jungle until he thought he'd collapse in an effort to really not deal with it, but it wasn't nearly as all-consuming as it had been in the first days. Today had been almost normal so far, even. He'd gotten up at nearly dawn again, and walked for a few hours, but now he was on the beach, sitting in the sand with a book in his lap, staring into space.
It wasn't until he heard a familiar bark that he started out of it and turned to see Aeneas, walking with a stranger.
